As ELAPC moves forward into another year, we look back on 2015 and give thanks for all of the lives we are blessed to be a part of. 2015 was an especially busy year for our Parenting Classes, in which ELAPC partnered with community educators to equip our clients with skills to lead strong and happy families. Our classes are provided to all of our clients 100% free of charge thanks to your generosity and the involvement of our community partners. A total of 143 ELAPC clients attended our Parenting Classes in 2015- some came to learn what to expect with their first baby, others came to learn new skills to facilitate the healthy growth of their young children. All left with new ideas and skills to enrich and strengthen their growing families. In 2015, we were honored to partner with the following agencies to provide accurate and professional education to our clients:
- Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health
- White Memorial Hospital
- Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department
- California Woman, Infants & Children
- The University of California, Los Angeles
- East Los Angeles College
- Cerritos College
- Su Casa Domestic Violence Agency
We are presently working to secure new and exciting speakers and presenters for our parenting classes of 2016! If you or someone you know might be interested in leading or assisting with a parenting class, please contact charlene@elapc.com.
